The show was called “Mudan”, the Chinese name for tree peonies. Ms Steeves said, “I travelled
to China and Tibet in May with a group of botanists in search of wild tree
peonies. We saw tree peonies in bloom in  botanical gardens and peony nurseries as well
as small populations of wild peonies in remote regions of China and Tibet.”
